After looking around at possible distributors for our mockumentary I've found one that could suit what we need. I tried to look at what other similar films were distributed by but all it turned up was BBC and 20th Century Fox, both extremely large companies who more than likely wouldn't do the honours of distributing our film. Although saying that, 'Monty Python's Flying Circus' was distributed by BBC, but that is probably due to it being their own TV show.
The narrative in our film is done by 'Donvid Artenburg', or known as Alex Grigoryev to the people in the real world (us). He's a Russian so after looking around, I found a rather fitting distributer who deal in both independent and foreign language films. Both these categories could fit our film as he speak with a Russian accent.
The company that I'm talking about is Axiom, they're a UK based company so they are quite ideal for us. They mainly deal in independent films and some of their latest works include:
Edd Hardy: Tattoo the World
About Elly
Paris ,Texas
Dark Horse
I personally have never heard of these films, so they are quite a low-key company, or the products they sell are low-key would be fitting.
