Title Sequence

Because the genre of our film is suppose to be like a documentary, the opening sequence cannot be extravagant like you may find in some action type films and other things of that kind.

To make our sequence we decided to go for a time-lapse style intro, to do this we placed a camera on the 4th floor on the college building and aimed it at the floor in fornt of the main entrance at lunch time. This is so we got the maximum amount of movement and people passing into the frame, otherwise it would just look baron and quite boring.

Rather than have just a sped-up clip of people walking, I added some filters to it to add a little bit more life and make it more appealing and suitable to the genre. The first filter I added was 'noir', this basically takes all the colour of the image and makes it black and white. Nothing fancy but it does give an excellent effect.
The second filter I added was 'Gaussian Blur', this adds a blur filter to all of the clip, and I personally find this to be the best filter and effect that was added.
